We were eating at Red Lobster. I had to go to the men’s room and this guy with an apron on happened to be there before me. I assumed he was one of the chefs. He never took the apron off, and he didn’t wash his hands when he was done. I rushed back to the table and told Matt about it. I looked at the food in front me and was on the verge of throwing up. He got the manager over and we told her the story. She was very nice and apologized profusely. Then she said, “Your meals will be on the house. And I’ll come back with a $25 gift card for your next visit.” Next visit? NEXT VISIT?!?!
If this doesn’t satisfy your appetite, there are more grotesque stories on Shine.

I’m going to pass on visiting that link. I treasure going out to eat, and therefore shelter myself as much as possible from restaurant horror stories.
Makes you wonder how often this happens. Ewww.
